One who prostrates and serves the elderly, is blessed with four things, namely: increase in longevity, knowledge, fame and strength. Unfortunately, given the present scenario of stressful existence in the society, financial and time constraints, more number of the so - called educated families are abandoning their aged, infirm elderly. A great number of such destitute, physically / mentally challenged persons who are unable to attend to their daily needs are found lying uncared for in nearly all the major cities of India. Kashi Annapurna Annakshetra Trust, deeply moved by the plight of such people, has taken up the responsibility to offer services to such persons as a mark of gratitude for the services rendered by them during their active life. With the kind Grace and Blessing of Mother Goddess Annapurna Devi, the trust has successfully managed to purchase a plot of about 6000 sq. feet area and established an Old Age home to fulfill the noble cause. The site is very near to the temple complex of Lord Vishwanatha and Goddess Annapurna Devi and the sacred river Ganga. Misir Pokhara, Godolia, Varanasi. Phone: 0542-2390243.
